My Story

School prepares us for a professional career. I myself received a Bachelors in Bioengineering from Binghamton University and a Masters in Computer Science from Hofstra University. However, school does not prepare us for one of the most important topics that impact each of us daily: Personal Finance.

The statistics go on, but the point is, most folks are not prepared to handle their own finances. It can have a huge negative impact on their lives, let alone rob them of their dream retirement. That is what I want to change and why I started Financial Fix.

I was lucky. When I started my first job, my coworker was a financial guru and what I learned from him early on was priceless. Since then, I have worked as a budget manager at a Fortune 500 company, received formal training as a Financial Coach, and have worked with others to reach their financial goals. My mission is simple. Help others take control of their finances which in turn will improve their quality of life.
